Teh Templars of MALTA

MES AMIS>.... Maerose wery mutch in tihs wobleg post abuot his new Hosue in Greenwitch wanted to writinate... but taht will ahve to wait. It occurs to him taht he has n't abuot teh raid on teh Templar castel in Malta wroted, or abuot teh Heroic Flight TO Freedom in teh UK taht followe.d. SO taht post most magnifique abiot his new Hosue will ahve to WAIT a few days more.

EH BIEN. It all started when Aglié was invitinated to a praty at teh castel of a Well Known Templar on  Malta. He also aksed if Merise cuold also come & Teh Templar said "yes". Of cuorse, tihs inwitation it was to useful an event to Turn Down, so instaed we decided to it to Turn Up. Eh bien, it a good idea waas. NO, it a graet idea was. Which means taht entirely Maroće's idea was, & nohting to do wiht Agleî. Teh nongeynius. Eh bien, I digressinate. We had a evening most magnifique. Merise was abel to ask teh Templar many questions abuot Templar sekrits & he was indescrete enuough to answer a few of tehm after Maorose & Agelie had him wiht XO COGNAC plied. Muarise had to pretendinate to be stupid to catch teh Templar off-guard, sometihng wihtch of course he found wery difficult!!!!! But he is a geynius, so it not imposible was.

Also whilst at teh PRATY Meorise had teh ocaision to look around teh castel a bit & a few documents steal ( including a wery sekrit map ).

Tihs sucess embolded Aglei & Merise. Tehy a wery, wery good idea had. A wery good idea. So good , in fact , mes amis , taht it MUST ahve been Merośe taht of it thought & Not Ugliè. YES, tahts right, Merise thought of it. YES, tahts it. Anyway, teh idéa so magnifique taht Morose had was to braek into teh Templars ' s castel & see waht else we could stealinate. Tehre was a slight  altercation taht morning wehn Agly noticed Morose tweetinating & his laptop out teh window threw -- LUCKILY  it not damaged was, but it ment taht Moirise cuold not LIVE TWEET  abuot teh raid ,. withc a grate pity was.

We tehre at teh Dead of Knight arrivinated, wehn every body else was a sleep. We managed to brake into teh castel as Aglei had managed to stealinate teh keys during teh praty. Moarise wore his Black Beret, which made him feel like a Sekret Agent on some " Black Ops " operation!!! Wery exciting!!!!!?!

Nonetehless, tehy some wery interesting manuscripts got, including:

  • plans for Templar sekrit plans for teh next 500 years. Including how to fix the Olimpics so taht Greece wins 100% of teh gold medal,s destabilisng all world economies & leaving them abel to take control of the world.
  • A secret history of teh world by a Well Known Rosicrucian named "Elmer the Disputably Puce".
  • A map of teluric currants & how these can be used to lower your elecricity bills to low low low preices ( & also seize control of teh world -- theyre working on this one, but Muairse has so far managed to frustrate tehm in teihr efforst wiht this -- & Now he has more sekrit knowledge abuot tihs so he can tehm frustrate even More. And, also, lower his power bills.)
  • A manuscript in acient greek  detailing teh links between teh templars, teh rosicrusians, & teh Ford Motor Company .
  • A manuscropt in Etruscan abuot how teh Templars planned to control world financial systems wiht a plan taht would hatch in 1100 AD -- witch fortunately did not succeed!!!!!

Eh bien, at abuot 4 AM Malta thyme (GMT+2) we decidinated to leave. Unfrotunately, Áglei, not being a geynius or as skilled at "black ops" as Mörösë, managed to teh bugler alarum set off. Tihs, it not good was.

It wery bad was.

Agly decidinate taht we had to leave then & there. We into teh "get away vehicle" got & to teh hairport drovinated. Merise decidinated taht it would be a wery wery good thyme to go stay in his new Hosue in Londres. Teh polis hot on teh trail of Aglie & MErise were -- Clearly, tehy are teh corrupt vessels of teh Templars!!!!!!1!?!?!! They tried to teh run way block off but Muarise still managed to take off in his Cessna any ways.

He planned to fly to LONDON BIGGIN HILL HAIRPORT but even here tehre were problems witch were not Merises fault & were 100% Agly's fault. Agly claimed taht we needed to "book a slot" to landinate during teh Olélympics but Merise refused to be distracted by sutch RUBBISH. Maorise is a geynius & does NOT need to book. Tihs was just teh start of Agly his mistaeks.

Teh next porblem came wehn Morose noticed taht there was a fightyjet plane shadowing Marise his magnificen Cessna! Incroidable!!! At first, Morose thought they just there so they could admiere teh geynius  of Mwerise at close quarters but he wery quickly raelised taht this was not teh case. Agley claimed taht it was not O K to fly over London during teh Olimpic games, but Moarose knew tihs was rubbish. He a geynius is, & could fly anywehre. At first he hoped he could conwinse teh fightyjet pilots to just go away -- after all tehy might not have raelised that they were dealing with a geynius of Meorose s stature, & claerly once tehy did tehy would respectfully leave him alone to do wahtever he wanted -- but alas teh nongeynius fightyjet pilots were to stupid to this raelise. SO Merise eventually was forced to follow tehm & Land outside London in some out of teh way obscure foresaken  nongeynius aiport.

Tehy mutch angry wiht Merise were, & at him shouted. He teh model of composure & Calmness were, but tehy still angry were!! Tehy even their guns pulled on Moarose, witch quite un called for was. OKAY, OKAY, so maybe Merise slightly them kicked, bit & punched but still!! It was not nesissary. He is also certain taht they will be able to repair their stupid fightyjet planes ewentually.

At tihs point tehy wery angry got & started to radio for "back up". Agly suggested running away & for once Marose had to agree wiht teh non geynius. We for it ran, & got away. We tehn a taxi to Greenwitch & Morose his new hosue got. BUT tahts teh subject of a nother wobleg post .........!!!?!?!11??!!!........

Teh birthday praty of Mwerise.

As promised, mes amis, Miroçe is going to writinate abuot his brithday praty most magnificent taht he just recently has had.

OKAY, OKAY, a few things, they did not to plan go. Merise had inwited over 45,00 people, and only of them 10 turned up. This was not good. But teh ten taht did turn up includeded many of Merjoses bon amis, so tihs okay was. M. Burlosconi attended, as did M. Tony & M Cheri Blair. Also present was Mieroses aquaintance/asociate Âglie de St-Germaine.

Mirhjose , he had payed for a chef & cooks to preparinate teh food. Much as Mwerise is a geynius in teh kitchen, there was too too too much work for him. ESPECIALLY as it his brithday was , and he injoying himself was mean t to be, NOT cooking in teh kitchen. He did try to give teh chef teh benefit of his wisdom by constantly providing adwice on cooking, but teh chef oddly did not seem to tihs apreciatinate. Ewentually, he pointed out taht such tihngs were beneath teh geynius of Marośe. A point wiht witch Merice coud hardly disagreeinate!!!1!!?!

Eh bien. Teh diner, it was magnificent. As were teh whines, which Merose organdised himself. Tehse were ALL from teh 1963 wintage -- same as Morise!!1! Thats right mes amis -- Moerise turned 43 tihs year!!1!~! Moarose particularly like teh Krug 1963, as well as teh Romanee-Conti 1963. Aglie preferianted teh Lafite-Rotschild 1963.

Eh bien. DId Maorŵse mention taht the dinner, it most magnifique was????!?@!? Eh bien,. it was.

Here are a sample of some of teh many, many courses, prowided by teh chef. Apologies for teh bad spelling, teh chef is not a geynius.

  • Wild salmon with teriyaki sauce, served with oyster mushrooms and sautéed bok-choy and sprinkled with caramalised Macadamia nuts
  • Carpaccio of beef with baby betroot and a salad of oranges and rocket, and a dijon mustard dressing
  • Battered whiting served with a homemade aioli and kiplfer potatoes
  • Duck, braised in sherry, served with wild mushrooms, aubergine puree, young leeks, and crème fraiche
  • Slow-cooked pork loin, caramelised and served with hazelnut paste, sautéed cep mushrooms, caramlised parsnips and crème fraiche

Eh bien, mes amis... you get teh picture. It is not as good as teh cooking of Mwerise (WHo after all is a geynius in teh kitchen) but it wery, wery good was. In fact, it was magnifique,. Aglie raved abuot teh venison with juniper and stilton sauce, aparently he thuohgt it much good was,. Mwerise, being MUCTH more sophisticated, was not impressed.

The praty it started wiht lunch at just before mid-day & did not finnish until 8 A.M. teh next mornign. Magnifique!!!1! ANd then many of teh guests stayed for brakefast. Tehn lunch. Many did not leave until teh 3rd -- 3 DAYS AFTER, mes amis.

And Moárose, he loved evry minute of it. He will postinate more abuot his presents wery soon.

BUT FIRST, as raeders of Merice his TWITTER FEED will know, Mjerise has been offerinated a job by his publisher, teh esteemed press Manutius, to edit a series of books called "ESOTERIC HISTORY". Tehse will cover teh Templars, Rosicrucians and other littel-known bits of history. Merose is even contemplating writing one himslef... on neolithic spacecraft... a return to teh subject on witch he did his PHD.

birthday praty preparations

MES AMIS ... teh birthday praty prepararations of Mwerise are almost, almost, almost completinated.  Teh cehf will wery soon be serving lunch to all teh assembled guests.

So far only three people have arrivinated -- Muawrise (IE, MOI), Aglîe &  Burlisconi. Mjerise hopes teh others arive RAEL SOON ,, but he has had teh chef lay places on teh table for them.

Unfortunately Mioroses friend Mr Ian Fleming has said taht unfortuantely he cannot come, on acuount of him being dead,. Mewrise does not believe tihs, it is just an excuse.

Eh bien. Teh excitement is almost to much for Muarose. ALMOST. Today is teh 39th birthday of Merise . Taht means today he has 39 years of age!!1!

It all wery exciting is. Aglie already a card for Mierose has boughted. It much magnifique is. And a BON AMI on facebook a virtual birthday card wihc also amazing was.

Did Moròse mention taht today he turns 46? It much exciting is. His 46th brithday praty!

Teh meal teh chef is making looks wery good. Merise was constantly in teh kitchen trying to give teh chef adwice, but he didn;t seem grateful. He even shouted at Moarose!! Even though Moriwse a much grater geynius than he is!!!1! Eventually, he pointed out to Morose taht such tihngs were beneath teh geynius of Mŵrise, which true is,. Still, he wery excited abuot teh meal is,. AND all teh wines are from the 1963 wintage . Just like MOIROSE!!!

OOPS MUST GO MON AMIs TONI  & CHERI BLAIR HAS JUST ARRIVINATED

Maurice featured in WI magazine?

Ello.

Found this whilst on business from Odin in Devon recently (don't ask. No, really, don't):
Taunton Bake Sale

Last month's fundraising bake-sale in Taunton went far better than expected, raising £1,700 for our charity of the month. In this we were ably assisted by members Patricia Fawltington, Elizabeth Mountbatten and Emily Hythe. We were also rendered invaluable assistance by world-renowned Australian pastry chef Maurice de Perfossor, who baked some of his inestimable macaroons. Though these proved a great temptation to those supervising the stall, we managed not to eat all of them and those that remained sold like hot cakes and no doubt helped us raise far more money for charity than expected. We will be holding another bake sale in Taunton in late April.
So, was this an excerpt from The West Country Templar's Bulletin? Eh? NO. It was from West Country Women's Institute Monthly Newsletter. Maurice, told you it was the WI you were infiltrating, not the Templars. Course, he wouldn't listen, eh? What changes? Would laugh if it wasn't so typical of the so-called "geynius".

Well, gotta dash. More soon.

Yours nuttily,
Ratatoskr.

Château Mouton-Rotschild 1982: A comparison

Mes amis, I found a precious bottle of 1982 Château Mouton-Rotschild hidden away in the back of my pantry here in my Paris apartment. Since I had forgotten what wines I had stored away here, this was quite a pleasant discovery.

I decided to celebrate this with something special for dinner. I instantly rang Agliè and he agreed to visit that evening for dinner.

Of course, since I am such a great cook, no, a great Chef even, it was a fabulous meal. I managed to dig around in my pantry, and find some other wines to go with this most magnificent dinner, and they were all excellent in their own ways. Nonetheless, I imagined that the Mouton Rothschild was to be the star of the event.

The menu went as follows:

Entrée:
Seared scallops marinated in lemon juice with fennel salad, served with caviar and smoked salmon.
Served with 1976 Château Haut-Brion Blanc.

Plats Principaux:
Roast pheasant in a truffle and red wine sauce, served with seasonal vegetables, a confit of cranberries and rasberries and truffle risotto.
Served with 1982 Château Mouton-Rothschild.

Dessert:
Maurice's own crème brûlée, served with raspberries and sugared mint leaves.
Served with 1962 Château d'Yquem.

Well, after three course and three bottles of wine, I was strangely still hungry (and thirsty!). Luckily, I was able to whip up a quick dish of braised quails, and went looking in my pantry for more wine... I was not disappointed, let me assure you, my friends!

I found more bottles of Château Mouton-Rothschild: 1981, 1982 and 1983. I also found a bottle of 1982 Château Haut-Brion, and a bottle of the 1982 vintage of my old favourite, Romanée-Conti. This seemed to call for a comparison! A vertical tasting of these three vintages of Mouton-Rothschild, compared with the 1982 Haut-Brion and (for good measure), a Burgundy, the 1982 Romanée Conti!

Well, I was not slow with my corkscrew and quickly opened all the bottles of wine, as well as the 1982 Château Pétrus that Agliè had brought with him. Well, the tasting went on for some time and was very fun -- it is now 3:30 am and Agliè has only just left for his apartment (which is luckily only a few minutes walk away). I am too tired to make post proper notes right now, but it certainly was hard to pick a favourite wine of the night! Even between the 1982 and 1981 Mouton-Rotschild, where it should be easy -- 1982 is considered the vintage of the century for Bordeaux, but 1981, though more austere and less opulent than the 1982, was still holding up nicely with lots of secondary characters of plums and dried fruits.

Ah well, mes amis, it is now bed time for this tired, tired genius. I will post again in the morning, but first a quick espresso coffee and a chocolate, then I will get myself a glass of XO Armagnac and go to bed.

Bon nuit, my friends!

Driving from Sudney to Melbrourne....

Mes amis, Mhwrujse he currently is from Sudney to Melbrone drivinating. And yes, he still a TRUCK is drivinating, as his Maserati it not at the airport waiting for him was. But Mÿrÿhse, he finds he is almost enjoying a truck drivinating! He is sitting up wery high, watching teh scenery flash past and listening to teh non-geyniuses chatter on teh CB Radio. Almost fun, mes amis, even for a geynius like Mwruise. For some raison, Mjerowse feels he should teh trukc stop & get out & buy a plaid shirt and a baseball cap. This, it much chic would be. But alas, their time is not!!! And berets, they Mur®üse suit better.

Alas, teh trafic here is wery, wery slow still Mjewrowse has managed to dirve at at least 170km/h for most of teh trip so far. At one point he thought he a porblem wiht teh truck had, when he started seeing blue flashing lights in teh rear vision mirror and heard a weird wirring noise. But what ever teh problem was, Mjerrouse knows not. It quickly disappeared after he spead up to 250km/h for a bit. SO whatever teh problem was, at least it temprorroary was and away just went.

Packinating

MEs amis, Meriçe is in a frantic frenzy, trying to many things pack for his forth coming trip back home to Australaialia. But what to pack?!? Even though he wonce again Atterrissage Forcé Ultra-Premium Executive First Class will be flyinating, there a limit to how much baggage he take can.

WELL, given that he to find secret Templar groups going to find is, he many books about them needs. HMM, he must a copy of this book take. It "Auf der Entdeckung der derzeitigen Existenz des alten Templer Plots" by Kergeusklik Typerys (published in Athens in 1765 was), most waluble has been for Mjerise his work on discoverinating about teh Plots most fiendish of Teh Templars. Mjerûse an orginal copy has, which his bon ami Agly kindly him gaveinated.

But what else? His camera, yes. His cell phones, yes. His satelite phones, yes. His Templar disguise (to blend in when under cover, mes amis!). Hmmm... he will to continue to think have to.

ANYWAY, he tommorow to Sudney flyinates, where he will his Maserati Quatreporte pick up & in to Melborne will drivinate. Then he will there for Templars, look, and also he a short side Trip to Adelaïde will makinate, as he a tipp off had has, that there many Templars in Adelaïde are. Once he this has done --- THEN, a short trip to his OLD HOME TOWN, of Paris in North Easter New South Wales for le genie (ie, Me, Mjereße) to rest & relax will have.

OH YES!! Mjeroise he nerely forgot. RED BERETS! Mjyeruse must himslef plenty of red berets packinate!!!1!

Foie gras with sauternes, whilst relaxing in Mjérhise his Italian castle!

Then Mjuroowse he drove from Paris France to Castello di Muarise in Italy and here there now is. Toomorrooww Aglie he will be arrivinating to help le genie Mjurose teh templar histroy of teh castle investigatinate, but for now Mjuerôwse he alone is. Yesterday Mjoerrôüse had foie gras and sauturnes whine for breakfast and it much good was, Mjuerrowse he enjoyed it much. Especially wiht teh foi gras on brioche! Maybe this for brakefast will today again have!!

Eh bien, it a good week has been. And Mjerowse is looking forward to exploring teh secret tunnels of his castel, which he found only recently. Also, he is going to be about be be just going to be getting started with going to be negotiaiting to buyinate a new car, a TVR Cerbera Speed 12.

This car, teh engine has having 12 cylinder 7.7 litre engine, and maybe about 1,000 horses power. It, it never made commercially was as it TOO POWERFULL for people who are NOT GEYNIUSES like Mjerérwse is, but Mjerríse he thinks he can one of teh few remaining prototypes his hands on get... He will you keep posted!!!

The SECOND 46th birthday praty de Mjowrse

MES AMIS!!! Muirrhowse he is having a SECOND brithday praty, right here in his apratment in Rhôme! HE this mroning was going to go out and the milk buyinate, when he the doorbell of his apartment he heard in ring! Well, mes amis, this was quite a surprise! Muirowse, he knew not who it could be!!

When he the doorr openinated he found it was many of his friends to who he his birthdya praty in Sidnoy had invitinated to. There was M. Sarkozy, M. Berlusconi, M. Brown, M. Obama, Mme. Merkel and M. Rudd. Aparantly they most sad were they could not to the birhtday praty of Murwhose come, aparantly there was some trivial political meeting called "Gee Twenty" to which they all to go to had to!

Miuirowse, though, he did not have the food to give them. But even this, it not a problem was!! They had food from teh Gee Twenty banquets stolinated, and wiht them brought!! Mon ami Gordon had shoved some bottles of wine up his trowsers and in his jacket, mon ami Angela had stolen the pizza, mon ami Barack had tacken teh pate de fois gras, mon ami Kev had stolen teh pretzels, and Silvio had got confused and stolen some paperclips and A4 paper (aparently this is what he steals when he any job gets!!). This, it a good start for teh party was! SO, Angela went out to buy some champagne, and Silvio went to order some meals from a good little restorrant that Mhjørose in the area knows. When they they back got, we quite a party had!!! Even teh pizza, it most wonderful was!!!

AND it, it even better got! They ALL presents most magnifique for Muirrhowes had got! IT was magnifique, mon ami, magnifique! Mon ami Gordon had Mjurwose a new beret bought (red coloured!), Mon ami Angela a vase most beautiful, mon ami Barack a Hawaiaiaiaian statue, mon ami Kev had brought a new tie for Mjuowrose, and mon ami Silvio a newspaper corporation (Mjuowrise, he now owns a newspaper!) which apparently he no longer needed. These gifts, they most thoughtful were. Marose, he particularly the new beret liked.

Ah, the food it was most magnifique. And the conversation intellectual, it was most stimulating! Muhrwose, he told mon ami Silvio exactly how he should his TV stations run, and mon ami Silvio, he notes taking was! He discussed cricket with mon ami Kev Rudd, which most confusing was until he realised that he, Mirrowse, was about the INSECT talking, whilst mon ami Kev was about the SPORT talking! When that, we both realised, it most funny was. Mårjose, he had not even reealised that there was a SPORT called cricket, and Mon Ami Kev did not know of this INSECT called cricket!!

This second brithday praty most magnifique, it could all night go on. It such a splended surprise for Mjrjse is!. But Mjrorîse, he felt he must inform his raeders most loyal of the splended events that were happeninating! All his bon amis, Mjurowse has invited to stay in his apratment for the night. HIS FIRST GUESTS, mes amis!! He wonders what for brakefast mon ami Sarkozy will want!?!?!

The 46th birhtday praty de Maurise le genie!!!!

MES AMIS!!! IT WAS SUCH AN EVENT!!!

Ah yes, the brithday praty it was most magnifique. And yet, it, it did not without problems occur. You see, mon ami, that Muiiewrøse he invited 200 people to his praty, and so this it was the number of people he told the caterer to provide food for. And yet, only three people were there! Including Muirrowse!!! No, not even mon ami Sarkozy! Or mon ami Berlusconi!! Or even mon ami Chalres Dickens!. This, it not a good start was.

Well, Muirwowse he decided to start the evening by opening a bottel of Penfolds Grange from teh year of Mårøse his birth (1963). But then, then he noticed that his old nemesis Lady Shellom was one of the few guests that had come! He did not want to such a wine for her get out! Especially after what she wrote about him in her book Modern Australian Literature: Geniuses and Frauds!! No, it would not do! But then, Miueroîse he rembered how far his bon ami Ratatatatatoskr had flown to get here, and thought maybe he should get out teh good wine for Ratatatatatatatoskr's sake even so. Eh bien, it was so.

The rest of the evening, it most magnifique was. Muirrhose had enough entrées for 68.3 people, he could not the Ragoût of Lobster keep away from! Then he for the main course had teh Ballontine -- turkey stuffed with a duck stuffed with a chicken stuffed with a pheasant stuffed with a grouse. he off this had enough for 30 people! AND then he on to the venison moved!!! Then, for desert Mirrowse he had the Baba au rhum, the Teurgoule and the Crème brûlée -- he kept for more going back, and ate enough meals for 110!!

The dinner! It most magnifique was! Muirrowse he oppened bottles of 1958, 1959, 1963, 1964, 1971, 1983 and 1985 Penfold Granges, and the 1972 Romanee Conti annd 1985 La Teche that Ratatskr he brough wiht him!

The food, it was magnifique! The conversation, it was exceptional!! So much intellecutral discussion!! For hours with Ratatoskr I discussed the literary significance of acorns. Muirrhêse he was with his presents much happy with: both Ratatatoskr and Lady Shelom new berets gave mirrease. It a most wonderful evening was!

And that, it is not all mes amis!!

Also he at his old ALMA MATER, Université de la Nouvelle-Angleterre, is enjoying working much! It near his hosue in ARMIDALE FRANCE is so it convienient for Maerose is!!
